Day three of our trip started off with a practice and a game against Loomis Chaffee. During our practice we worked on getting our offense and defensive structures up to game speed. We definitely benefited from that earlier preparation. The Loomis Chaffee game got off to a slow start, however we adjusted quickly and pumped each other up to finish the game with a strong win of 11-9. It was great to play against an intense team that we don't play during the regular season. It was impressive to see the younger players assuming leadership roles and understanding our style of play. After a well deserved win we headed off to Lost Tree for another barbecue at the Chace's (grandparents of a player on the team). The team was happy to relax and enjoy a meal by the hot tub.
